In August of 1914, Halifax is in the midst of preparation as Canada enters World War One. Scottish teenager Isabella Sudds is in the midst of preparation, too: For a wedding and a new life that await in the Canadian port city. This play, based on Sudds' memories, charts her starting over in Halifax during those turbulent times.
