The first few artist profiles have squeaked onto the Halifax Jazz Festival's website, and it looks like 90s pioneers Digable Planets will be bringing their sublime blend of hip-hop and jazz to the Festival Tent on July 16th. Laiiiiiid back!
You can buy tickets here. The lineup list so far also includes the Preservation Hall Jazz Band from New Orleans, Montreal's fusion hip-hop group Nomadic Massive, and the Maritime-based Back Alley Big Band.The full schedule comes out May 26.
