Call me by your name, sweet peach.

As Carly Rae Jepsen commanded, let’s cut to the feelings. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, it’s The Coast’s annual Sex + Dating Survey.

Over 1,200 of you took the time to spill all your romantic fantasies and sexy secrets in this year’s results. Nearly half of those respondents were women, between the ages of 23 and 32. Roughly the same percentage is still in the same longterm monogamist relationship they were in last year and loving it. Bad news, that, for that 17 percent of Halifax that’s single and trying to mingle.

Below we’ve assembled a bouquet of our favourite stats and scandalous quotes submitted by the city’s lovestruck and heartbroken. We’ve laid it all bare; from kinky fetishes HRM most wants to indulge, to perfect mid-winter date ideas, the ultimate slow-dance playlist and your most awkward ex encounters.
