Halloween mixers: Bobbing for cocktails

The zombie cocktail can't be served in its original 5oz, mixed-liquor form because of the zombie-like effects on drinkers, but there are plenty of other potions to keep you bewitched all evening long. A few bars have revealed their Halloween mixing plans.

Elephant & Castle

The underground bar at Elephant & Castle is going all out with a long list of Halloween-inspired drinks, including Voodoo Child, Bitchy Witch, Ghoul Drool, Eyeball Highball and Dagger Bomb. Head over Saturday to find out what makes the magical potions.

Celtic Corner Public House

The Irish pub is keeping it traditional with Guinness for the night, adding black currant to make a fitting Guinness Black 'n' Blood.

69 Alderney Drive, 464-0764

Porter's Lake Pub

Porter's is twisting the normal zombie cocktail into a special zombie shooter, with creme de menthe, Baileys and grenadine. If you're wearing a costume, you even get a free drink.

5527 Hwy 7, 827-3097

Snaubar Lebanese Cuisine

Snaubar will feature zombie cocktails, along with orange martinis to fit the weekend's colour scheme. You don't have to wait until Halloween, though---the special runs from Thursday to Saturday.
