I just picked up my CSA box and was oh-so-happy to find a pint of local strawberries. I’ve been dreaming about making my grandmother’s strawberry shortcake ever since it started feeling like summer. So that’s what I’ll be making, with the freshest, ripest Nova Scotia strawberries I can find.
