PechaKucha Night 10 gets people talking about Cities, ours in particular.

Breakhouse's PechaKucha Nights seem to getting better and better. Their 10th installation of lively and mind-opening six-minute, 40 second presentations follows the theme of Cities, one that eager folks in 400 places across the world will get together and engage in. Wednesday's rapid-fire talks include the Bus Stop Theatre's Clare Waque, potential councillor Waye Mason, poet and cyclist Ben Gallagher, a naval base commander, a stay-at-home mom, Mr. Mayor Peter Kelly and more, sounding off on our dear city. "There is a need to do things differently, to bring together multiple perspectives together in new ways," says Breakhouse's Rachel Caroline Derrah. "We are at a time when unleashing creativity of all citizens is essential to make this the city we want it to be." In short: you and your big ol' brain don't want to miss this.

UPDATE: Peter Kelly has dropped off the PKN10 roster, unfortunately, but mayoral candidates Mike Savage and Fred Connors eagerly stepped forward to join the diverse lineup. There you go--- you win some, you lose some.
