Before you send the angry letters, understand that I'm big on meat that's raised correctly (I'm an enthusiastic supporter of two local farms that raise and butcher free-range poultry, pigs and cattle) and I wear leather, if not furs. But this Peta thing is just another weird Halifax connection to the larger world. We're famous!
