If you like freaky song titles, check out “Hot Shaved Asian Teens” and “Genitalia of a Fool.” The former rides wordplay to illustrate how obsession works. The latter is conventional country hurtin’. Much of the album takes so mature a look at life as to border on psychobabble: try singing along to the line “Avoiding unwanted social contact.” Tilbrook, however, has a knack for keeping up the pep of his old band, Squeeze. As he wraps with a surf instrumental, his craft stands, unsinkable.
