Roger Ebert quoted Pauline Kael in his blog recently: “Take everything you are, and all the films you've seen, into the theater. See the film, and decide if anything has changed.” I thought about this as I sat in G-Force and noticed that the kids in the audience certainly were enjoying it, and why not? The story---elite spy gerbils attempt to thwart a world domination plot---is coherent and sometimes funny and the effects are neat (and in 3-D for some theatres). It’s the kids’ opinion that matters here and I think they’d recommend it. Most were there with adults, so I hope those experiences changed them more than the movie. They can smile at their memories of G-Force when they can bring more films into the theatre. –Hilary Titley
