In this edition of Eyelevel Gallery's Food for Thought lecture series, two artists explore themes swirling around culture and tradition through traditional dishes. Cinthia Arias Auz will be sharing patacones (a plantain dish from Ecuador) while discussing how cooking them is a ritual that can bring the feeling of home. rudi aker, meanwhile, will prepare lakalet (a traditional Indigenous fry bread) while discussing how making food can bring people together.
