These “helpful” blue signs that line the waterfront aren’t displaying anything but this ugly grey rectangle. What’s that supposed to be? Fog?

These “helpful” blue signs that line the waterfront aren’t displaying anything but this ugly grey rectangle. What’s that supposed to be? Fog?

Remarks: The signs are supposed to display “Harbour Walk” maps, pointing out pretty things to look at along the waterfront—but without the maps, the signs themselves are an eyesore. We’ll pause while you appreciate the irony of the situation…OK, all set? Strathdee says the signs have been sent away for “refurbishment.” “They’re changing the Sheraton, now that it’s the Marriott Harbourfront,” she says. The signs are also treated to resist graffiti and weather. “We expect them back by Friday,” says Strathdee.
