A pointy metal fence has been knocked over on the corner of Barrington and George Streets.

Remarks: Of all the structures in this city to end up broken and lying on the ground, this fence would seem an unlikely candidate. It looks (well, looked) like a solidly built piece of downtown fencery---metal (iron?), cast into stone, firmly welded to the ground. What magnificent force of nature toppled this once-proud partition? Phil Townsend of HRM Real Property and Asset Management offered a friendly and prompt response, pledging to report the problem and (hopefully) get a work crew assigned to the problem ASAP.

Who's Responsible?: Phil Townsend, HRM Real Property and Asset Management. 490-7166.
