An eyelevel gallery on Gottingen Street billboard has a typo

The eyelevel gallery on Gottingen Street has come up with an imaginative way to display art: Via billboards in the lot alongside the gallery. This month’s billboard has a typo. Is this artistic licence? We’ll find out.

Remarks: Little things like apostrophes are just that, little. But what does it mean when we abuse them? It could be that an angel cries, or a fairy dies or maybe the good folks at On Patrol just get another migraine. Anyway, trust us, something happens. Ward Williamson, the artist, knows this. If you looked twice at this billboard, good for you, as the piece is a comment on the breakdown of language. If you didn’t look twice, what’s your problem? Its awesome! I mean, it’s awesome.

Who's Responsible?: Ward Williamson who created the billboard, and Eryn Foster, eyelevel director, who lovingly displays it.

Status: Fixed

Should council use the yet-to-be-finalized Centre Plan when debating new developments?

  • No, it doesn’t exist yet and is still likely to change
  • Yes, thousands of hours of work and consultation have gone into what’s already assembled
  • Maybe, it really depends on what’s being proposed by the developer
  • I don’t know what the Centre Plan is and do not wish to participate in this poll
