First ever Atlantic Ink Festival this week

Writers' festival offers readings, workshops around town.

This week marks the inaugural Atlantic Ink: The Writers Festival. Hosted by the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia, the festival is offering readings and workshops across the city. Of course it wouldn’t be a fest without some hardware—-Friday night, 7pm at Scotiabank Theatre, winners of the Atlantic Poetry Prize, Evelyn Richardson Non-fiction Prize, Ann Connor Brimer Children’s Literature Award and the big daddy, the Thomas Head Raddall Atlantic Fiction Prize, will be announced, along with a keynote address by Alistair MacLeod.
