Fireworks info

If all goes well, the fireworks go off at 10:00pm, July 1st. That's Saturday and it's also Canada Day.

The best place for up to date information is to call the fireworks hotline: 490-6776

The Molson Canadian Canada Day concert begins at 4:30pm at Alderney Landing on the Dartmouth waterfront. The concert features performances by ELI, The Fed Pennies, Persuaders, Stampeders & Big Fish culminating in a spectacular fireworks display above the harbour. Bring your kids and toss them in an inflated plush arena while you visit the beer garden.

Bedford days fireworks take place at DeWolf Park. The celebration is from 7:00pm to 10:30pm and features live entertainment by RyLee Madison, entertainment for kids provided by Glow Promotions, birthday cake—assumably Canada's—and the obligatory beer garden.

The rain date for both firework displays is Sunday, July 2nd.

Boaters are requested to keep back a minimum of 1000 feet from the fireworks barge or the fireworks will be postponed until police can maintain a safe zone.
