For those Haligonians who know of its startlingly good ginger beef, Fan's Chinese Restaurant (451 Windmill Road, 469-9165) is very much worth the trip to Dartmouth. Now we've learned we needn't always make that trip, that Fan's will deliver to peninsular Halifax. The catch is the service is only available after 7:30pm in the evening, when the dinner rush slows, and they'll charge a delivery fee of approximately $4. But for a taste of that crispy meat candy, and the other stellar items on their menu, it's worth it.
