Every day is Love Day

I love your "Love the Way We Love" section. It inspires me and since I have discovered it, I find myself looking for others everywhere I go who might just be carrying groceries for a stranger or holding hands with a new date.

I'm in love with the philosophy of this section of The Coast and all of the sentimental, and memorable, poetic, sad, desperate emulations of human longing, connectivity and gratitude attached.

The moments of introspection I indulge in on my walk to the gym have turned into an iPod-in-my-ears-search to find everyday moments of what-ifs that romanticize my Halifax heart. A tribute to, and a reflection of, the poetic one-time love stories and thank-yous that were never told...but posted on your website.—Cody O'Neill, Halifax

Survey Asks

Should council use the yet-to-be-finalized Centre Plan when debating new developments?

  • No, it doesn’t exist yet and is still likely to change
  • Yes, thousands of hours of work and consultation have gone into what’s already assembled
  • Maybe, it really depends on what’s being proposed by the developer
  • I don’t know what the Centre Plan is and do not wish to participate in this poll
