It was funny watching Eric's Trip get their instruments ready to the beat of techno music. Julie commented later on about how it made her want to murder somebody. Thank god they finally shut it off. It was also funny to watch them chomping at the bit, so to speak, as they couldn't start their set until CBC Radio 3 said they could.

The set list reminded me a lot of the shows I saw in Sackville at the last two Sappy Fests, but that isn't a complaint. I feel fortunate just to see them again and I like all of those songs. I am especially glad they played most of the Gordon Street Haunting EP. I was also happy to get up close to the front for most of the show so I could see the amazing Mark Gaudet on drums.

Of course, since it was an Eric's Trip show, there were major gear malfunctions (Chris's guitar went wonky and Julie started to lose her voice) and of course they still pulled it off.
