There’s been some pretty ace summer festival announcements this year in Nova Scotia and environs, and Truro’s Dutch Mason Blues Fest is no exception. The lineup so far includes Los Lonely Boys, Robert Randolph (listed as one of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time), the Eric Clapton-endorsed Gary Clark Jr., Lukas Nelson (son of Willie) and British guitar whiz Joanne Shaw Taylor, who does a ripping good version of Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression.” The festival runs August 13 - 15 and you can get advance tickets at the Halifax Metro Centre Ticket Atlantic Box Office, by calling (902) 451-1221, all participating Atlantic Superstores (service charge applies) and by visiting ticketatlantic.com.)
