"Where were you in '62?" Alderney Landing, of course---as long as you head there this Saturday, when the waterfront space transforms into the 1962 incarnation of American Graffiti's cruising strip. "We really wanted to have a drive-in movie here, and we've been wanting to do that for a number of years---we'll probably continue to do it next summer if this is successful," says Kim Farmer, TKTTK. The event is both part of Culture Days---a Canada-wide, weekend-long arts and culture celebration---and the Atlantic Film Fest. It's not just a movie screening, either---there's going to be a hot rod car show in the lot, and musician Steven Dooks will perform as Jerry Lee Lewis while Vile Passeist Theatre troupe takes on the personas of 1960s teenagers before the sun sets on the alFresco inflatable screen. Bring your car and tune in on an a.m. station, or load up on the blankets to sit in the non-vehicle area. Popcorn and cotton candy will be on hand. –Holly Gordon
