This year's Prismatic Arts Festival kicks off with a performance by Diomira, the band comprised of local music scene mainstays Nick Halley, Joseph Petric and Juno-winning composer Dinuk Wijeratne. Wijeratne, who has won the Nova Scotia Masterworks award and served as conductor-in-residence for Symphony Nova Scotia, writes the music for this trio, with a blend of accordion, piano and percussion bringing a host of influences to life.
