I must say that I completely disagree with the above characterization of Dr. Gold. Gold might have succeeded in building a thriving practice, but I was thoroughly disappointed with my visit to her office. Not only was she condescending and cold but I felt that she refused to listen to a word I said about the particular medical problems that I was having. I not only left the building with no answers, but felt completely hopeless about my predicament. Dr. Gold may refuse to wear a white coat, but her lofty attitude betrays some haughty ideas she has about herself and her station in life.
Although the nurses and administrative assistants working at the Sexual Health Clinic in downtown Halifax were extremely forthcoming and helpful, I would not recommend Dr. Gold to any friend of mine.

Why doesn't this city have places to which we can lock our bikes? Why do I have to lock my bike to sign posts and telephone polls? This city is not bike friendly. And hell, park and ride would be fine if the transit system in this city was efficient. But it's not.
In any event, you'd think with all of the parking tickets that they're shelling out at City Hall that they'd be able to install some bike racks and perhaps build more bike-friendly roads. And the pot holes are dangerous for both bikers and drivers.
But you don't have to buy into the 'wedding market.' Why not reject all that propaganda and buy and wear something in which you'll feel comfortable? The wedding industry is a scam. In my mind, it has nothing do with love and marriage.
