DD/MM/YYYY play all ages show in Halifax Friday at Studio A Cafe

Giving one last hug to the east coast before the new year

DD/MM/YYYY wind down a rather eventful year with an all ages show in Halifax on Friday, December 11 at the new Studio A Café on Quinpool Road (with Cold Warps and Windom Earle).

The band toured extensively, released a split 7” with Child Bite and their acclaimed album Black Square. But it wasn’t all good news either, Matt King (keyboard, drums, vocals) had a bit of bad luck as well. Shortly after their April shows in Halifax, King took a header while biking in Toronto, requiring the band to cancel a handful of Canadian shows so King could recover before finishing the tour, which eventually took them to SXSW. King was also the target of a petty theft last November outside their show for the M for Montreal festival, when his backpack full of clothes was stolen. Thankfully, the gear was inside the club. Hopefully the sting of these two events will be lessened by their upcoming European tour, and by seeing your smiling face in the audience on Friday.
