Daydreams of Kaleidoscopes

In a quiet hospital room, a doctor checks on a 19 year old boy who is dying from a chronic illness in addition to suffering from vivid, realistic hallucinations. The doctor finds himself swept up in the boy’s world, and neither of them will be able to walk away the same person as when they met.
