Re: “Fujiyama Restaurant

It's funny, just before I went to write this post, I noticed a review just above it.

"The service was excellent, however I found that the sushi could be fresher. Perhaps it just a slow Sunday evening."

This was almost what I was thinking, our service was great. My husband and I have eaten a lot of sushi and this doesn't come close to my top 5 places in HRM. I liked the cute small feel of the place, it was fun for our daughter to walk through the tiny hallways and explore but for my husband (6'2) he had to duck A LOT to walk through the doorways.

The table felt like it had some sort of gross film on it, and decided to wipe it down with a baby wipe; that helped. We ordered the Nina Roll & Maki dinner. The soup wasn't very fresh or hot, it was more warm and the salad was not fresh at all. I ended up not eating the salad, the lettuce didn't look nor taste clean. My rolls tasted not bad but wow can you say small! It was the smallest rolls i've ever seen!

I don't plan on returning anytime soon (if ever) I think i'll stick to Sakura Sushi House in Bedford. It's a little further but completely worth it.
