Conduit 2

(Sega) Available on Nintendo Wii

conduit-review.jpg
The sequel to 2009’s Wii exclusive shooter, The Conduit, improves on the series in every aspect imaginable, but the game still ends up feeling dated. The story of Conduit 2 picks up right after the end of the first game, focusing on Michael Ford as he combats aliens and humans to stop a sinister plot of world domination. The story and atmosphere of the game is Halo meets Stargate. Jon St. John (of Duke Nukem fame) voices the main character. The controls are tight, easy-to-use and fully customizable. This is the perfect Wii shooter in terms of gameplay, although the graphics look pretty ugly, especially when compared to ones seen on the 360 or PS3. Online multiplayer for Conduit 2 is the best yet on Wii with creative maps, customization options and very little lag. This is the shooter Wii gamers have been waiting for.
