Closing Reception w/Shaya Ishaq

Ishaq's Khyber residency saw the multi-disciplinary, multi-talented artist and designer create Black Libraries Matter: Collective Calls to Liberation, a "collective attempt at envisioning liberation of the imagination through literature, solidarity and the narratives of resilience woven through Black communities on Turtle Island." At this, her residency's curtain call, you can leaf through the library Ishaq has compiled, while enjoying light refreshments and dancing to music by DJs FADZWA, Fancy Pants and Shyshaya (Ishaq herself).
