CKDU 88.1FM will always teach you a little something new, but this time you can put a face to the voices with their free C-K-D-You Got Skills workshop series. Beginning this Thursday, January 24 and running every Thursday until February 21 (6:30-8pm, 2nd floor Dalhousie Student Union Building, 6136 University), the four session workshop series offers a chance to expand your horizons and soak up some new skills, such as making mini audio documentaries, kicking ass in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, hosting a successful event and how to effectively conduct an interview for maximum juicy detail potential. This Thursday’s workshop is on the electronic music dance scene in Halifax, how to get shows, throw events and beginner DJ tips hosted by JR Loeb and Kenny Cameron. Learn yourself something good.
