This TIFF-debuted flick follows the true story of author Jane Jacobs, an urban activist who penned a 1961 book about planners’ and architects’ reconfiguration of cities. The film shares Jacobs' aim to take on building tycoons and keep neighbourhoods walkable and belonging to those who live there.
