Re: “Letters to the editor, May 21, 2015

Okay I have something to say..this Letter to the Editor bashing Nova Scotia in The coast this week. Stating how much Alberta was better then Nova Scotia because he can earn 4 times more out there then here..blaming the NS government for not making a job for him after he got out of school....

Here is the simple fact..just because you get some high priced degree doesn't mean your going to walk out and get an amazing job ANYWHERE in this fucking country.

So Alberta was blessed with a booming oil industry because of their natural resources, and some careers in comparison to Nova Scotia are HUGE in difference. So by all means if all you want is money, then move out there to follow it! No one is stopping you..

Now we in Nova Scotia are not blessed with this huge oil industry, and yes none of us fully agree with the decisions our government makes..but what does moving to another province so you can get rich then bash Nova Scotia do to improve the situation here? Absolutely fucking nothing that's what it does! So go the fuck ahead and move because your desire for money is so strong you must earn hundreds of thousands of dollars in another province, then look your fucking nose down at the people struggling to survive here, here is a thought.....

Educate your self on the economy in the area and see if you can fill any gaps and bring money into a province that needs it! For example, I looked into my options and took web development, and from Halifax Nova Scotia, I can bring in money form anywhere in the country here home, and fi someday I get my shit together, start employing other people..and guess what I have also brought many small businesses from Nova Scotia into the online world so they too can now sell their products and services to other provinces. I didn't move off out west and take some cushy high prices job, then bitch about how much I hate Nova Scotia..I stay here, because I loved this place and make it work for me..and if more people did this our economy would be far better off..

The "letter to the editor" I read was nothing but a fucking waste of my time to read..instead of complaining about shit, think of ways you can fix the situation, or shit the fuck u[ and move out west. Either way I am sick of hearing people agree with this garbage!

Okay, Nova Scotia may have its drawbacks, but Alberta isn't the fucking land of opportunity as everyone makes it out to be too..unless your luck and get a high paying job, you are no better off there in most cases. And any educated person can get work regardless of the economy, its called being resourceful! You may not get the job you want off the bat, but its called working with what you are given. Just because your living in Alberta doesn't automatically mean your working a high paying job. I live in Nova Scotia and live just fine..Why? because I looked into the economy and got an education based on demands in my area. And now I sit home in good ol Nova Scotia and take in Alberta money! and when I lived in Alberta with no experience, I got low end shit jobs!

So, this whining about how horrible it is to live in NS, well maybe just maybe your career you decided to take doesn't have the proper demand in this province. Therefore, you were ignorant and got an education in field you had no hope of thriving in this province with. Instead, maybe look at the area your living in and see where the job demand is BEFORE you go to school if you want to live in province so bad.
