Judging by the continuous laughter, the audience approval rating for Caught in the Net was at an all-time high. This farcical English comedy requires rapid-fire timing and a ballet-like choreography to work well, and this production has both. The plot is silly---Ben Stone plays a two-timing London cabbie whose families are on the brink of discovering each other because his children have met via the internet---but it makes for some high energy door slamming and tale spinning. While I found the cavalier attitude towards bigamy a little disturbing, and a part where Stone uses a parody of the Chinese accent dated and offensive, I couldn’t help but be entertained when it was so obvious that the play’s seven performers were have one heck of a good time. –Kate Watson
