Re: “Was Halifax’s e-vote hacked?

This is ineffective. sensationalized muck raking at its worst. There is not one shred of evidence that the electronic process was compromised in any way. The Halifax vote has been shown to have been fair, transparent, secure and VERIFIED. Mr Wipond is furiously blowing smoke in faint hope of starting a fire. His credibility and expertise is obviously lacking.

Re: “Intelivote trips over BC election

"Smith’s company was selected to run Maharashtra’s next five elections and will be running tests with a new voting system this coming June."

"Halifax council will reassess its relationship with Intelivote before the October 2012 council elections. "

The Indian contract with Intelivote deal fell through ... didn't happen. They lost the Halifax 2012 election contract to a Spanish company.

The PR that comes out of Intelivote is dubious at best

Re: “Nova Scotia Business, Inc. drops $800,000 into Intelivote

The smell of death is in the air.

With only 8 people, no potential business of any major import coming until 2014 (if then), the $800k convertible debenture is only a small life raft for a company probably sitting on a mountain of debt. When they lost Halifax Dean said he wasn't sure Intelivote could survive. The NSBI investment will carry them for 10 months or less. An acquisition at a 4x revenue rate in this business niche won't happen (these days). If an acquisition does happen, the earliest and smallest investors (90?) will take the bullet under punitive terms

NSBI probably holds pref shares and likely stands at the head of the line for buy-out. Taxpayers rejoice!
