Canada Loses

But advances anyway

Okay, we lost, but really we won. It wasn't a bad, humiliating loss. Maybe the Swedes gave our ladies a collective skinned knee, but we both advanced. Correction: I got my talk all wrong in the earlier posts. Sweden earn second place in Group E with two wins and a loss; we get third place in the group with a win, tie and loss. However, this still means we get to advance. The BBC lays it out. Thanks to North Korea's loss to the USA, we are the best third place team overall, so that means we will play the United States.
