Menz' rainbow room is transformed into a mental health institution circa 1955 for this play. A cleaner at Cape Breton's Butterscotch Palace, a place where the mentally ill are left to be forgotten, befriends a patient. The unlikely twosome share a love of music, showing the value of compassion and music therapy.
