Burnin' Down the House heats up the Co Ho

NSCC project event brings the Whiskey Kisses to the stage.

Talk about the coolest class project ever. Five NSCC Music Business students have collaborated to organize Burnin' Down the House, a showcase of local music that is part of a monthly series of rockin' student assignments. "I kind of got into the class with a broad sense of wanting to be involved in the music industry and the more that we do the more I realize I enjoy doing so many different aspects of it," says Chantal Caissie, who took charge of the event's marketing. Tuesday's lineup includes The Whiskey Kisses, The Scoop Outs, Micro Organs and a slew of student openers. Sounds like an A+ to us.

Tuesday November 23, The Company House, 2202 Gottingen Street, 7:30 pm, $5 or $2 with a non-perishable food item for FEED Nova Scotia
