The after-work watering hole is dressed in retro chic and ready to serve you whatever drink and food you crave post-eight-hour shift. A new lounge---opening in the next month---will give you all the relaxing space you need.

Jamieson's Irish-House & Grill
"A little bit of a hybrid, out in the 'burbs, and a true local spot," says owner Chris Smith of his Best Restaurant-winning Irish-House (according to this year's Best of Food poll for Cole Harbour). Two alcoves with wingback chairs, cast-iron fireplaces, a large variety of single malt scotch and wines by the glass will welcome you (almost) home.

Winston's
If listening to live music is your way of relaxing, you've come to the right spot. Winston's hosts local acts frequently, with two separate areas for performances. Fridays bring martini nights, and Thursdays give you a wine fest. There's also good news for steak fans: operator Scott Samways says the pub area's changing into a steakhouse in the next two weeks.
