AboutYears ago, the tainted blood scandal (specifically Hepatitis C infected blood) motivated Bruce to get political. The Commonwealth Games got him angry about the way government spends tax dollars. In fact, he was a vocal opponent of the Games and often appeared in the local and international press. A quick look at Bruce's website reveals he is a political outsider and a tell-it-like-it-is kinda guy. He doesn't like insiders much; especially Citizens for Halifax and Fred MacGillivray. He does like Tim Bousquet, which is a plus in our books.
Goals and Issues
"I want to see 20/20 foresight when they spend our money, not 20/20 hindsight. Let's get on with spending on things we need, like roads and police." (From Halifax NewsNet)
"The secrecy of HRM council makes Howard Hugh's (sic) look as if he were an exhibitionist."
