The Nova Scotia Community Services sign on Gottingen Street looks like it could use some community service of its own.

Remarks: The biggest challenge when trying to fix a non-traffic related provincial sign is finding out where to report the problem — the province has made it awfully difficult to track down the department in charge of public signage. For amateur On Patrollers, the department of Public Works is your best bet, but they’re not always ultimately responsible. We here at On Patrol have run into this problem before, and things haven’t gotten any easier. Maybe that’s why some signs can remain in such a state of disrepair, kind of like this little guy.

Who's Responsible?: The Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Public Works, 424-2297.
