Motherless Bobbie Sue Cofax grows up to be as tough as her eight brothers. By the age of 30, she's a kick-ass attorney who's hired by a sexist law firm to litigate a corporate client's massive sexual discrimination suit. Bobbie Sue wins the case, only to learn that her bosses have deliberately withheld crucial evidence from the plaintiffs. She fights back in the courtroom, with a last-minute assist from senior partner's son, Joe Baker Jr., who's fallen hard for Bobbie Sue.
