Anything would be better than Katz' Deli-- except for the enjoyable company of a great couple from Queens who shared our table, it was a wasted venture. Shoulda tried Carnegie Deli instead.
From what I can gather after having read this post, the girl is likely still an adolescent and has yet to fully develop critical thinking skills. Let's hope that this very sad situation compells her to to ask questions and do her research before forming, and even worse, sharing uninformed judgements. Alot of kids today, and I am not slagging on them because I am ageist but rather, have a fair amount of experience with them, just do not know how to "do" or "think". They have not been taught. That, combined with an entitlement that they have learned from their peers, society, media, etc. serves to handicap them even further than their ignorance and naivete. Please, "Paingirl"....read a little, learn a little and grow up.
Though I'd heard a smattering of Imaginary Cities on Radio2, I did not give them the attention they deserved. I, for one, am most pleased to have been given an opportunity to hear more of their sound a they opened for The(fabulous) Pixies on Saturday night. I picked up the CD on Sunday and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to their musical stylings during my morning and afternoon commute. Even my four year old has become a fast fan. I look forward to hearing more from Imaginary Cities and wish them well as they continue their collaborative efforts!
