Bike-In Movie at the Halifax Commons

Bring your bike and blanket and cozy up under the stars for a special screening of the movie Wadjda. The award-winning film tells the story of a young girl in Saudi Arabia who enters a competition in order to win enough money to buy her own bike. Vendors, food trucks, and bike tune-up tents will be on site. Join a 6pm Welcoming Wheels bike ride with the Ecology Action Centre from Immigrant Services Nova Scotia (6960 Mumford Rd) down to the Commons. Movie plays at 9pm. (Rain date Sunday, June 11).
