The sixth annual art auction in support of Leave Out ViolencE Nova Scotia is all set to awe you with work from some of the best (and most generous) local artists around. "Some of the artists that give to us rarely show or sell their art," says executive director Sarah MacLaren. "They are so generous to give to us, they give us 100 percent of the proceeds!" It's an act of kindness that you mirror when you bid on something you love in the silent auction or give snaps to the spoken word poetry by LOVE youth. Thirty-five different artists including Kevin Lewis, Chris Foster, Caitlyn Purcell, Emily Falencki and Steve Richard have pieces up for grabs this year—delighting the new, old or just-starting-out art collector in us all.

For the Love of Art
