Sheer size usually makes Dalhousie a perennial champion in this category. Still, it’s nice to see the school once again take home gold as Best University/College just as it wraps up its 200th anniversary celebration. This time last year, Dal was still reeling from a riotous south end homecoming party that saw dozens of students arrested, plus national media attention in its handling of comments about white fragility. In comparison, 2018 has been largely quiet. Especially given the sexual assault and Rick Mehta scandals cropping up at other local universities. Enjoy the win, Dal. Let’s see what the next century has in store.
