A good trivia night is made of many parts: stellar hosts, clever trivia team names (and equally clever teams) and great questions. Stan Selig and new co-host Ben Schulman (taking over for Matt Morrison) have perfected this trifecta, winning the T-Room trivia night gold once again. “I’m really psyched about taking the crown back from Rogues Roost this year,” says Selig, because, after all, what is trivia without a healthy amount of competition? Selig chalks this win up to his wonderful audience. “If the folks present are really into it, it generates such a fun vibe. Having a way to directly interact with the crowd also goes a long way—Ben and I have methods of engaging everyone in the crowd, not just the trivia buffs, which gives everyone a way to win and have fun,” says Selig. “Trivia is really gaining steam in Halifax, and it’s so much fun to be a part of driving it forward.”
