Mitch Benvie has an awful lot in common with his brother, Matt. They’re identical twins who are both personal trainers and they co-own their gym—Evolve Fitness, Halifax’s gold-winning Best Gym. “We grew up brothers in a small town. We had the same friends, we played the same sports,” Matt says. “We were competitive, but we wanted the best for each other.” In this case, that’s a Best Trainer gold, and Matt is indeed happy for his brother: “He has a way of making people feel comfortable in a situation that’s uncomfortable for a lot of people. He genuinely cares about everybody who comes in.”
