The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is a bit of a misnomer, because not every team is from la belle province. A key part of the league is, of course, the Halifax Mooseheads—which was no doubt on voters’ minds when they cast their virtual ballots. Unless they’ve been rooting for the Saint John Sea Dogs this whole time? But in all seriousness, the QMJHL is pretty serious business, it’s where NHL notables such as Guy Lafleur, Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby got their start.
