Anna Campbell’s early-2000s focused spot has been making a significant mark since it opened earlier this year: “I think just the community, with all the local designers and artists in Halifax, has brought attention to the shop. People love to shop local, especially in the north end. We’re lucky to have a great space in a great part of town,” she says of her boutique.
“I hate to say it’s trendy but it is. We see a lot of fast fashion companies duplicating these designs, and having a spot where you can buy from the actual era and it’s not going in a landfill? It’s a great way to say fuck fast fashion.”
