CD Plus

CD Plus is seeing the vinyl revolution revolve. Whether it’s the old stuff getting repressed and re-released, or the brand-new stuff that has a vinyl pressing along with the CD, it’s all down there on Barrington. “You can come in and get a classic Dylan or the new Portishead,” says CD Plus music expert John Boudreau. “Our target is the actual music fan. Someone who wants to own the music.” Presumably that is opposed to the casual music fan who would prefer to just download the hit single. “We’re all music fans here, we’re not just the weekend CD buyers,” says Boudreau. CD Plus area supervisor Debbie Rockola, (with the coolest name in the music business) says Boudreau and his cronies at the Barrington Street location have “the knowledge, bar none,” and that’s what keeps those real fans coming back. 1592 Barrington, 422-1559
