The on-hold music at Biscuit is this strange pump organ tune, but it somehow suits the carnival atmosphere of the popular Argyle Street boutique. “Biscuit is the brand we sell,” says owner Wendy Friedman. “We see ourselves as your style editor, no matter what the brand or name.” They have about 150 brands available, some well known and some less so, and more than ever due to having expanded the store this past summer, which is good for everyone. “We know the people who shop here really well,” says salesperson Johnny MacDonald. “We have a lot of regulars.” 1661 Argyle, 425-5436
