Best Pub Food

Winning two years in a row now, this 177-year-old converted mansion is the nicest place to get kicked out of in Halifax. But before you do that, you should try the menu. Offering up a hearty selection of traditional British pub grub, including fishcakes (for which it won Best Fishcakes in 2010), homemade beans and, of course, the (drum roll) Ultimate Burger! Wash it all down with a pint of one of the locally brewed ales from Granite Brewery.
